October 2025 update:
Although it was fun being able to accept select secondhand items on consignment in our spacious original home at 725 8th Street, our new space at 1034 H Street is much smaller, thus less accommodating. In our future home (when we find it), we intend to have enough space to accept some special secondhand items again, but at this time, secondhand is officially on pause; we just want to sell through what we currently have in stock, & going forward, be sure to keep the focus on local art. There simply isn’t enough space to fit much secondhand in here as well. Thanks for understanding!
That said, there are a very few exceptions, as follows:
We’re interested in complete novelty playing card decks in good condition, fully functional cameras, & select books.
We are also nearly always eager to accept issues of National Geographic*.
*Please note that while everything else is on consignment, we will buy your NatGeos outright for fifty cents apiece in the form of store credit — we’ll load up a gift card & give it to you right then & there. They must, however, be in acceptable condition or we won’t be able to take them!
